Stephanie McMahon is responsible for defining an entire era of the WWE’s history. This came near the end of the 90s when she got involved with now husband Triple H. Although it’s been over two years since fans have seen her on TV (with the exception of a one-time appearance), this doesn’t mean the possibility of a return is out of the question.
She recently stated in a Baltimore Sun interview that she would be willing to return to the small screen. While she has stayed quite busy running things behind the scenes, she’d make time to be onscreen if she felt enough people wanted to see it.
What Could Bring McMahon Back to the Small Screen?
Some WWE fans are disappointed by the anonymous nature of the show’s current general manager. They feel that the show’s situations are much more interesting when they involve a real villain that people can actually focus on disliking.
This desire for a concrete villain could be enough to lure McMahon back into the spotlight. Unfortunately for her fans, there are a few factors that could still prevent this from happening. The first is that Stephanie seems to be enjoying all of the work she is doing off-screen. Another is the amount of time she can occupy with her family. Add to this the fact her husband is also moving to an off-screen role, and only time will tell if she ever makes it back to the show’s spotlight.
In the meantime, her fans can always enjoy her appearances in DVDs such as 2002′s “WWE – Triple H – The Game” and 2006′s “McMahon.”
